Compostable Sheaf
A funeral sheaf is a flat-backed bouquet of flowers, hand-tied at the base, offering a natural and simple tribute. These arrangements are versatile and can be laid on top of the casket, placed beside it, or displayed as an additional tribute from family and friends. They are also well-suited for laying on graves or memorial sites to mark anniversaries or other special dates.
We can personalise your sheaf by adjusting the colour palette to reflect something meaningful to you. This might include incorporating regiment colours, adding dried wheat to honour a farmer, or simply creating an arrangement in a favourite colour. We always use seasonal flowers and are happy to advise on what will be available at the time of your order, ensuring the arrangement feels natural and fitting.

Card Message
If you would like to include a card message, we will handwrite your note and attach it to the sheaf.

Important Details
Please let us know the date and time of the service, along with the contact details of your funeral director if this is being delivered. We require 4 days to order.

Care Instructions
If possible spritzing the Sheaf and placing in a cool environment, can help keep it fresher for longer.
Alternatively, you can gently take the sheaf apart, making sure to cut the stems and pop in your favourite vase using the flower food provided. Another option is once the sheaf has been taken apart, share with family/friends.
Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, the Natural Tied Sheaf will be delivered directly to the Funeral Directors. I also ensure the arrangement is carefully placed on the casket and travel safely to the service if this is required. This guarantees the Natural Tied Sheaf remains a focal point throughout the journey and the ceremony itself.
Delivery to the chosen Funeral Director is within 10 miles of the SN6 9QJ postal code.
Sustainability
At Willow and Moss we source from local flower farms who grow without the use of pesticides. We operate a low waste policy and our flowers are never wrapped or displayed in plastic or floral foam. By buying British flowers over imported flowers you are chosing to significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
