Our handcrafted and fully compostable farewell open wreath is made on a willow frame with a moss foundation, offering a natural and thoughtful tribute. As with all of our arrangements our wreaths are designed with seasonal flowers and foliage, arranged to reflect the individuality of your loved one.
We are very happy to guide you through the seasonal flowers that will be available at the time of the service and can adjust the colour palette to suit your wishes - please just give us a call or email us for any further information.
Living Wreaths
For a meaningful touch, plants, or bulbs can be included in the wreath and can be removed and planted in a garden, providing a way to remember your loved one in the years to come. If you would like us to include plants in the wreath please contact us to discuss further before you purchase.
When to Send or Order a Compostable Farewell Wreath:
- As a main tribute to be placed on the casket
- As an additional tribute to rest against the casket or be displayed on an easel
- For placement on graves to commemorate anniversaries or other significant dates.
Card message:
Please just let us know if you would like us to include a card message with the wreath. We will hand write this and tuck the note card into the wreath. We require 4 days to order.

Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, the open farewell wreath will be delivered directly to the Funeral Directors. If required, I also ensure the arrangement is carefully placed on the casket and travels safely to the service. This guarantees the open farewell wreath remains a focal point throughout the journey and the ceremony itself.
Delivery to the chosen Funeral Director is within 10 miles of the SN6 9QJ postal code.
Care Instructions
If taking the open farewell wreath home after the service, please spritz with water daily and place in a cool environment. This can help keep it fresher for longer. Should you wish you can carefully remove the plants and pop in the garden as a poignant reminder each year.
Refunds and Returns
We hope that you are pleased with your farewell flowers. However, should you encounter a problem with them please do get in touch as soon as possible.
Sustainability
At Willow and Moss we source from local flower farms who grow without the use of pesticides. We operate a low waste policy and our flowers are never wrapped or displayed in plastic or floral foam. By buying British flowers over imported flowers you are chosing to significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
