Foam Free Posy
Losing a loved-one under any circumstances is incredibly hard. As a Floral Designer would work with you to create a bespoke Posy to rest gently on your loved ones casket, or be given in loving memory as an addition to the service.
The Posy is created using stunning flowers and seasonal foliage. Arranged with care to reflect your chosen colour palette and individuality of your loved one, providing a personal and heartfelt farewell.
The Posy uses sustainably sourced, farm fresh and homegrown flowers, all inspired by the beauty of cottage gardens and country lanes to offer a softer, and more organic alternative to traditional funeral arrangements. It is also suitable for natural burial sites where there is a requirement of bio-gradeable materials.
The base is made from Floral Fibre, a natural product based on volcanic basalt rock with a bio-based binder that is derived from rapidly renewable materials and a recyclable and compostable card base. To adapt within keeping of natural burial sites the base will be changed to palm leaf shapes, cardboard and moss wrapped in twine.
Variations
We offer options that include posies of flowers or plants within the arrangement. These can be removed after the service for family members to keep or plant in memory of your loved one. For more information on this option, please talk to us direct.
Personalisation
We can add thoughtful touches to make the arrangement unique, such as colours with personal significance, favourite flowers (when in season), or elements like dried flowers, or even a cherished item.
If you’re uncertain about the flowers that will be available, we’re happy to guide you through the seasonal blooms when you place your order.

Care Instructions
The Posy will have been conditioned prior to delivery to ensure it is in the highest quality.
If you plan to take the Posy home after the service please keep hydrated and spritz with water daily.
Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, the Posy will be delivered directly to the Funeral Directors. I also ensure the arrangement is carefully placed on the casket and travel safely to the service if this is required. This guarantees the Posy remains a focal point throughout the journey and the ceremony itself.
Delivery to the chosen Funeral Director is within 10 miles of the SN6 9QJ postal code.
Refunds and Returns
We hope that you are pleased with your farewell flowers. However, should you encounter a problem with them please do get in touch as soon as possible.
Sustainability
At Willow and Moss we source from local flower farms who grow without the use of pesticides. We operate a low waste policy and our flowers are never wrapped or displayed in plastic or floral foam. By buying British flowers over imported flowers you are chosing to significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
